I want to invite you into a deep understanding of rhythm and pressure.

You're invited to learn with one of my mentors!

If you remember me posting a couple of months ago, I’ve begun hosting traveling continuing education teachers here in St. Louis, not just classes, but a weaving of teachers, lineage, and bodies in the room together.

Work that lives in the body long after the weekend ends.

And this next one feels especially close to my heart.

I’m honored to host my teacher and mentor, Randy Cummings, for an approach to barefoot massage that has deeply shaped how I understand pressure, rhythm, and the intelligence of the whole body:

Barefoot Shiatsu: Staff & Scarf
May 11–12, 2026
10am–5pm
14 CEs
Soleful Sara • St. Louis, MO
$350

This is mat-based work that invites your entire body into the conversation: feet, knees, elbows, even tools like the staff and scarf all in service of meeting fascia with depth, steadiness, and listening.

We’ll move through supine, prone, and side-lying positions, exploring fluid transitions and rhythmic application so the work feels less like effort… and more like a current you step into.

If your thumbs and wrists are tired…
If you’ve been craving a way to work
with your body instead of against it…
If you feel the call toward something both deeply effective
and sustainable, this is a place to root into.

It’s also beautifully mobile work, something you can carry into festivals, events, community spaces, just a mat, a few props, and your body as the instrument.

Come learn from one of my sources of inspiration.
Come feel what becomes possible when the whole body is present.

With care,
Sara
