Letting Life Reshape the Way We Live, Work, and Care
Hi,
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how motherhood and my work are not separate paths.
Motherhood, for me, is a kind of spiritual practice. It asks for presence, regulation, repair, patience, and deep listening over and over again.
And in many ways, that’s the exact same foundation I bring into my sessions.
There isn’t a version of me that is “the therapist” and another that is “the mother.” They inform each other constantly.
Which also means this business, this work, this space is not built in isolation.
It’s supported by the people who come in, who receive, who trust, who return.
You are part of what allows me to raise my children in a way that feels aligned. And that matters to me more than I can easily put into words.
As I move into the summer months, I’m holding that truth closely, creating a rhythm that honors both my family and this work.
If you’d like to be in session this summer, I’d love to see you. Scheduling ahead will be the best way to find a time that works.
If you wish to explore how motherhood can be a spiritual practice, join me in Mother Circle to see how you can create resources and support for you and your family. Find yourself in your motherhood journey within Mother Circle.
With gratitude, Sara
There are a few new (and honestly, delicious) offerings I’ve been weaving in:
• {NEW!} Intra-oral + facial massage — for those holding tension in the jaw, face, or nervous system or you have a history of headaches. (and also has a connection to the pelvic diaphragm) This work can be subtle and profound, softening patterns we often don’t realize we’re carrying. This can be added to your session or a session on its own.
• The Soleful Reset (4 hours) — a deeply immersive experience. Think: layers of warmth, intuitive touch, rest, and time stretching just enough for your system to truly exhale. This is one of the most generous ways to receive.
• Love Your Low Back (Add-on to any table session) — You're feeling the creak and the ache especially in your low back? Yeah, let's focus on that. I don't want to take away from the other work we do on the table so let's add a little extra time and focus up on your low back, QLs, Psoas, pelvis, hip flexors, and gastrocs.
• Postpartum care (Closing of the Bones / Blessingway) — for those in a threshold moment. Whether you’re preparing for a new baby or newly postpartum or tending to an older transition, this work honors the body in its transition and its integration.
I’ve also brought in some beautiful new tools and textures that I can’t wait for you to experience… the kind that make your body say "thank you for that!"
If you’ve been meaning to come in, or your body has been whispering (or shouting), now is a really lovely time to listen.
I want to say, thank you for being part of this space. Whether you come in regularly, occasionally, or are simply here reading these words… this work is shaped by relationship.
If you’re wanting to stay connected in a different way, I’ve been sharing more on the podcast lately, and the Patreon is still open as a softer, ongoing space to engage with this work outside the treatment room.
More soon on something I’ve been quietly building around that less transactional, more relational but for now, just know you’re invited into it.
I've been sending emails about new offerings but I wanted to put them all in one place. And give you a few more.

I serve women seeking radical, communal care by creating spaces where they are protected enough to release through shared wisdom, containers of safety, and trauma informed bodywork.
I want to be clear about something, I believe in care as a practice. In remembering one another’s humanity, even when the world forgets. Even when the powers at large are shifting the tides in what we model and consume as human value. I stand firm in my progressive values and everyone deserves the right to equality, dignity, and justice. We're not going back. If you’re a woman, femme, queer, ND neurodivergent, BIPOC, you are seen and held here.
These times call for the helpers to emerge. I've always held the space to help the helpers.
If you are an organizer or activist, you can use the CODE: HUMAN1ST to jump into the Body Wisdom course at no cost. The work you're doing is important, let me hold some of this with you. Please spread this word quietly to ensure safety.
Thank you for reading. It means the world to me.
Remember, a one-word reply to this email does wonders for email deliverability. I also love to hear from the ones reading this. Plus, I like to know I'm not just yelling into a void when I send these. :) You can also like, share, and comment on social media. It all helps us small biz folks.

You are an adult and should be respected as one. I see so many specific patterns in students that traverse time and place. As I’ve now taught more advanced level students, I see something that I want to say out loud. In FUNdamentals, we focus on the structure around how to use your feet. In Intermediate, we start to expand out. Ideally, you’ve been using your feet for awhile and you’re navigating your own professional practice. And here’s where things get interesting. You’ve workshopped and...
